No more exams (hopefully!)

YAY. Exam over and Friday was a night to celebrate. I was exhausted, it was raining and Bunker Hill Community College was a little different from the tree lined avenues of Wellesley!

So I made my way to Harvard Yard to celebrate with a few cocktails.  Jojo and Nibbbles met me there and we found a great burger bar Mr Bartley's where I downed The Lady Gaga and was ready for bed. As it was pouring with rain I stayed on the girls couch for the night (thanks for the blanky, pillows and stylish tech mark t-shirt girlies!)

An early start on Saturday morning to listen to Eric Sashoua, founder of Zeo Personal Sleep Coach at Babson.  Sheer determination, persistence, self belief and humility in equal parts helped him to launch this brand new consumer technology.

Saturday night and time for my newest sporting experience - Basketball pre season game in Hartford CT.  MacD drove us and we even had time for a burger (yes another!) before the game.  I thought baseball was my fav game but basketball wins.

  • Firstly, it's indoors - none of this standing around in the freezing cold like other sports
  • Lots of entertainment, music and things to watch.  Someone even proposed on the big screens and we all got to watch her say yes.  It was really very sweet.
  • The game is only 4 x 12 minute quarters so even with all the stoppages, time outs and breaks between quarters it was finished by about 10pm - perfect for me!!
  • The players are so tall that they were easy to see from our mid priced seats! Shaq is 7'1". AND there was a player on the NY Knicks team called Patrick Ewing Jnr - how could I not love the game?
The Boston Celtics won (woo hoo) and my fav player is Robinson, who is only 5'9", for his sheer talent on the court. They played the New York Knicks and I'll be going again to see them when Rob joins me in Boston.

Ate a super ice cream today (sunday) whilst shooting the breeze with the girlies and Fahd, before heading home plough through the piles of reading for the week. BEDTIME and no more exam study!!

McHazel part 2 will be uploaded tomorrow.
